Reasons To Visit VedYog Life

Traditional practice

Connecting an individuals actions with the universal action, is the original and traditional Vedic practice of Karma Yoga.
Every vedic subject which enhances life such as Ayurveda (medicine), Gandharvaveda (sensual indulgence, entertainment and creativity), Sthapatyeveda ( Architecture and sculpture), Kamasutra (sexology), Dharmshastra (The science of Natural behavior) contains the information needed to make us physically and mentally healthy so we can complete the purpose of life in one cycle.

Veda Yoga and kundalini

Yoga Asana is a Yogic body workout which establishes a deep connection with the hidden energies of our life set by nature or the universe. Veda Yoga considers our body as the base of all our life potential energies. These energies have been coded in our cells from the time of our creation in the mothers womb. These coded energies can be activated by improving the Prana flow into our Prana channels which are further linked with every cell. According to Ayurveda and Astrology our behavior is influenced by these hidden energies which need to be understood by the individual so we can live truthfully. In Ayurveda we call this the body constitution (Prakruti) of an individual, and Janma Kundali in Astrology.

This original hidden energy is called Kundalini energy, it is our ultimate truth hidden in our root chakra. It is possible that we can live life without concerning or realising this unique truth but this will be the life of the sleeping Kundalini. This happens when we are treated and educated without concerning the individual. In this system of life, we are introduced to acknowledge success and failure, thinking from one pattern only which is based on materialistic development. This causes us to embark on a life journey which often does not resonate with our truth, and even after achieving the set goals of materialism we do not feel satisfied and happy in our life. This is the life of the sleeping Kundalini.

A life with an Awakened Kundalini give us freedom from our Karma and ends with Ananda and Moksha. A life where the Kundalini remains asleep burdens us with karma and ends with fears, depression and bondages. Veda Yoga practice breaks these conditioned patterns and takes us into the center of our life where our actions become uplifting.

When we live our constitution or nature as decided by the universe we live our original truth which in turn brings peace, fulfilment and happiness.

Vedic Astrology

Vedic astrology is a traditional practice in India dating back to the ancient Vedic culture.

Vedic Astrology is a science of time based on the movement of cosmic bodies and their energetic affects on the human mind and nature. It is originally known as jyotish or “the science of light”. An astrologer through his developed intuitive mind can calculate the affect of the cosmic bodies according to their situation in an individuals life. This practice is considered as the very eye of the Vedas because it can provide guidance to individuals who feel lost or confused on their life journey. Astrology can give mental clarity and prepare a person to sense their life with better understanding about their past and future. Vedic astrology recognises the validity of all four Purusharthas, the goals of life.

After making your Kundalini birth chart an Astrology consultation will talk you through what your planetary positions mean and how to work with them in order to remove any obstacles that may be in your life or how to improve general flow day to day.

Asana, meditation and mantra

To realise Purusharth in Veda yoga, asana, meditation and  mantra are used to activate our dormant natural life forces. These forces are called Devtas. These Devtas reside inside our bodies as Chakras. These life forces take us through a full life cycle if each of them are lived in harmony. All the chakras together are known as Kundalini energy. When this energy rises up through each chakra, it widens the consciousness. This whole process of indulging in Devtas with Asana, Mudra, Mantras, Bhajans, singing and dancing is called Bhakti Yoga. Ultimately the energy reaches to a level where its purpose is lived. It then stops indulging with life forces and the mind becomes inactive due to losing its velocity. This state of mind is called Chitta Vritti nirodhah. In this state of mind Samadhi is practiced for Moksha. This practice is called Raja or Gyana Yoga.

Ayurveda

Ayurveda lays emphasis upon not only leading a happy and healthy life on an individual level but also leading a life which will be useful for society and the environment. Humans are a social being connected with society and the environment.  If society, nature and the environment are not happy it is difficult for an individual to attain or maintain his or her own happiness. The social or environmental treatment which is considered as a new concept in the modern system of medicine is nothing but reminiscent of what has been preached and propounded in Ayurveda more than 3000 years ago.

According to ancient Indians, the treatises that encompass the whole knowledge of the Universe are the Vedas which are the source of all wisdom. The term “Ayurveda ” gives the knowledge of the whole of Ayu (the life) from the heralds of each and every facet of life from birth to death. Ayurveda is based on the Vedic philosophy of healthy living. It is a system of preventive medicine which provides remedies to cure various illnesses and prescribes ideal lifestyles to prevent the onset of sickness and disease. Ayurvedic treatment is based on the premise that every person has an individualised constitution.

The 5 Elements:
The five elements Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth which constitute the body in various forms, mean that medicine has to be tailored to suit the individual. It is a holistic medicine system designed to treat the whole person as opposed to just the symptom.

To stay healthy these elements need to function in harmony with each other. These elements are moving in the body as metabolic components called Dosha.

The 3 Doshas
There are three doshas:
Vata (sky and air), Pitta (fire) and Kapha (water and earth). Any deficiency, excess or vitiation in the doshas may induce a disease. Ayurvedic theories always aim at keeping a physiological equilibrium in the level of dosha and this is served by means of diets, deeds and medicines.

We also offer a wide range of Ayurvedic treatments including Panchakarma.

Marma Massage

Ayurvedic medicine proposes marma points therapy as a method for changing or improving our biochemistry which is described as Vata, Pitta, Kapha (5 elements) and Devtas ( Mental emotions). It releases stagnant energy and stimulates our internal organs, hormones and emotions to help meet the needs of our life. Marma points therapy is done by gently stimulating the marma around our body through massage therapy with oils.

Vedic Counselling

A Vedic counselor is an aware and compassionate guide who knows the core Vedic knowledge of universal unity, through the understanding principles and practices of Vedic philosophy and psychology. He / she can guide others at an individual level to unfold their lives as a way of self- knowledge and uncover greater capacities that link us to the universe as whole and create harmony and abundance for all.

Vedic counselling is life guidance based upon the tradition of self- knowledge. Vedic counselling helps us to determine our dharma in accordance with the laws of nature and consciousness that work behind the visible world. It enables us to access our unlimited wisdom, energy and vitality inherent in the cosmos.
We can define vedic counselling as dharmic guidance for right action, right relationship, right profession, social harmony, and respect for nature. Its basis is self-understanding and brings us into direct perception of our truth, not imposing a belief system, formula, or set of perception upon anyone.

After an initial Ayurvedic consultation we offer Vedic counselling to those who need further guidance and who need to better understand themselves.
Vedic counselling can be used to work through past issues and traumas which may still be presenting themselves in day to day life. It can be used as a way for breaking old conditionings and habits and will often be prescribed along with massage therapy and panchakarma.

It can be useful in:

  • Relationship issues
  • Addiction
  • Depression
  • Social anxiety disorders
  • Stress

We offer Vedic counselling online as well residential.
